I absolutely love RIDGID nailers. So smooth, so accurate and maintenance free, and this new Angled Finish Nailer is no different. The build I this nailer is superb and is made to be used in the professional market. It’s extremely conformable ,and very well balanced. I also love the textured grips that RIDGID puts on there tools to prevent you hands from slipping, even when wet. As for fire power, this nailer is crazy fast. You can fire one nail after another, after another, after another without any misfire or jamming. Even if you did get a jammed nail, the clean drive allows you to clear the nail super fast, and without tools. One of the best features about these nailers is that they are oil free. Yes, you do not need to put oil in these nailers! One of my main issues with other nailers is that I would sometimes forget to add the oil, which in return would ruin the inside because of condensation. Not a problem with these. Another great feature is the single shot mode and bump mode. The single shot mode is a one shot fire. You need to apply pressure to the nose then squeeze the trigger, where as the bump mode you can simply hold down the trigger and bump it for rapid multiple shots. A few other things that are great is the 360 degree hanger, the super easy to squeeze trigger, the adjustable depth control knob, swivel male fitting, and the magazine by pass pusher. Not to mention you can add two clips of nails to this nailer, which is great. All in all, it’s a fantastice addition to my RIDGID nailer collection, and does an excellent job. Definitely try it if you get the chance.

I’m an interior trim carpenter using nail guns 6 days a week every week. I’ve used several other name brands, Senco, Dewalt, Hitachi, Porter-Cable being a few, and Ridgid in my opinion is the best, most durable finish nailer. It’s comfortable and rarely jams, using thousands of nails a week!

The only reason I gave it four stars is because of nail retaining clip. It hold three sleeves of nails but the tensioner will only hold two. Plus when you load the first two sleeves you have to push them up in the center with your fingers to get the tensioner to engage.

I purchased the 15 gauge nailer for my stair installation. I like the features, belt hook, directional air exhaust, depth gauge etc. Unit is easy to use and durable. The only issue I find with this gun is that the nail gun jams approx. 3 out of 10 times. Almost 1/4 of the time. I tried lowering and increasing air pressure within the recommended limits but results are the same. The only thing I did not try were a different brand of nails.

I replaced my Ryobi cordless finish nailer with this Ridgid. It has worked great. It’s 4 times faster, 2 times lighter and although I have to deal with the air hose it is well worth it. Oh and did I mention it has a lifetime warranty?

Bought the Ridgid 15 Gauge to put in nails for baseboard. I returned the Ridgid 18 gauge Brad Nailer after reading this was more for light furniture although it had enough power to sink nails in 2X4. Ridgid is a great gun no matter which one you chose. No oil is required and that cannot be said for all nail guns. I only have did baseboard in two small bathrooms so far. I am doing my whole house, and predict that this nail gun will work just fine. Great power, sinks nails well, depth of nail adjustable with a turn of a knob or increase or decrease of air pressure to gun.

Nice and light compared to my old senco. Doesn’t blow out the mdf trim like some of the other nail guns I have used in the past. Makes it easy to fill the nail holes before painting.
