For $99, this is a great air compressor. It’s a great value. My only real complaints are that it is a little loud, the regulator seems a bit cheap, and the hose outlet on the front can be a little difficult to use considering where it is placed. The pressure release valve on the front is also kind of useless for me. If I need to release pressure, I use the valve on the bottom. I can control it better. But, it’s $99, has two outlets, 6 gal, and is really easy to use/maintain. It is light and can be carried around easily. The handle is excellent and very ergonomic. When it comes packaged, there is very little to do to prep the air compressor for first use. The regulator is set to 0 psi out of the box. You turn it on, let is charge up (takes a few minutes), connect your hose(s), tool(s), and then adjust the regulator to the proper pressure (mine is usually at 90 psi). Pretty easy. Some people are reporting leaks – just use a little teflon tape on your threaded connections and that should take care of it.I use this with finish nailers and brad nailers mainly. It is not designed to be used with continuous tools like sanders, grinders, and paint sprayers. You need a different kind of compressor with higher CFM for that. But it is very handle to have around.

Product is solid and works well. Easy to load, the hose connection swivels which is nice and no oil needed. The nail set depth is easy to adjust and the bad is an extra plus. I have an 18 gauge nail gun but a little light for some work which is where the 16 gauge is handy. I deducted 1 star because the head is a bit large for tight places, although nice to have the no-mar tip it is difficult for certain trim work. All in all I like it, gives me the additional versatility and extra hold.

Have not really used yet, but it was a good deal.

Gun stops nailing before you run,out of nails, and it doesn’t counter sink nails deep enough, set all the way, but its handy but not for hardwood floors

Haven’t used it much so far, but so far so good. It seema like a better built unit than the Porter Cable that I had to replace. It is good to have a small compressor that works.

I am a big fan of ridgid products, the quality and price surpasses the other big competitors on the market. I have dropped this nailer off a ladder and have fired a couple hundred nails through it and have had zero problems. No marring at all.

Bought this Nailer today, with lots of time to focus on Home Renovations with the Covid 19 Pandemic putting most of us at home for days on end, it works fantastic, light weight and very reliable, spent the afternoon looking to see if there was anything that I could nail down as I just didn’t want to put it away.

My wife and I re-upholstered some old chairs we had in our basement as they were beautifully hand carved chairs and were too nice to not keep. The compressor made light work with our pneumatic stapler and we now have two new beautiful chairs in our sunroom. Great little compressor.
Andre Weber (verified owner) –

Donnell Abshire (verified owner) –
Really like this compressor.

Like all my other Ridgid tools, this one works great. Like all my other Ridgid tools, I HATE the fabric storage bag (I throw them away). I have shied away from Ridgid because of the fabric storage bag and purchased other brands but I needed a 16 ga nailer and this was what the local retailer had on the the shelf. This would be a 5star were in not for the bag.
