Smart choice! This is the second one I bought since I was so pleased with the first. Very quiet and recovery run time is much shorter than my old warn out compressors. Perfect size tank for nail guns and staplers. Like the extra output too. Comes in handy sometimes.

Good buy at $99.00. The two caveats that I would note are, 1. It is very loud, one of the loudest I have ever used. You may not want to be in a small inclosed space while using it without ear protectors. 2. The adjustment of air pressure under 50 pounds is difficult with the two Bostich brad nailers that I have used.

Just AWSOME very light weight and easy way use

Works great. Light weight, not too loud when running and fills up fast.

I love this compressor. If fills up quickly, is easy to drain, easy to adjust, and is plenty light. I haven’t had any issues with it.

I ran about 20 thousand nails thru it so far and have had no issues. Time will tell if it can handle commercial use but so far it’s been great

I have had this compressor for about three months. It came fully assembled and ready to use. It is light enough to easily carry up and down stairs. The sound level is reasonable and it doesn’t “walk” like a previous compressor did. Having two hose couplings is useful. No complaints so far.

Looks great. Haven’t used it yet but soon will be putting it through it’s paces

First, I did the 30 minutes break-in as recommended.I bought it for misc tasks, like putting air in car tires, bike tires. It does this fine.I also got a purple HVLP spray gun from HF to apply the top coats (water base General Finishes EF High Performance Polyurethane) on a dresser. The gun is rated to 6 cfm at 40 psi. This is above the capability of this compressor but I adjusted the gun airflow and paint volume lower and I had no problems doing this job. End results are very good.I am happy with the performance but I would like it to be quieter. As mentioned by someone else, I can see the motor brush spark on the side, where the cooling fan is located. Appears to be normal for a universal motor turning at high RPM.

Great gun. I am replacing an older one that I will use exclusively for staples now. This gun is oil free, it is easy to load and you can see the fasteners, and it doesn’t leave a big ol honkin hole where the nail ram hits. Love it. Should have done it a long time ago. Ridgid really makes great tools

built well and did the job. only issue is it stops feeding when there is still 4 or 5 nails left in the chamber.

The pump on my old compressor locked up and I had a project to complete or momma was going to get cranky. This pancake compressor fit the bill and got me back in business.
Dock Skiles (verified owner) –
it is so much better than my older nailer.

Works great all that was advertised

This was my fist time using this sort of compressor and I found it very easy and convenient. It is loud, but it works great. You can adjust the psi with the front knob.

It’s an ok compressor, no full pressure port outside of the regulator.it’s kind of noisy, low power draw.Well worth the money though.

The Ridgid pancake compressor worked for what I bought it for which was a small compressor to blow up tires. I haven’t had it long so I haven’t used it much. But for what I needed it worked for me. I also noticed that some thought it was loud. In a small confined area it is a bit loud. But compressors aren’t quiet so I can’t imagine what they were expecting. As long as it lasts I’ll be happy.

It is good enough to use for home working. Very nice for me.
