This 16-Gauge 2-1/2 in. Straight Finish Nailer from RIGID comes standard with the FastenEdge Technology which gives you that extra edge on any jobsite. I got this finish nailer about 3 months ago and was a little leary of buying a Ridgid brand because of being a in store brand and I tend to go through them pretty quick. I don’t normally buy the expensive nailers because they tend to come up missing on the job site so I went ahead and bought this one to try it out. Overall I am very pleased in the performance of this finish nailer. I would rate it up with the commercial paslodes and hitachis. I got this nailer because I was sold on the fact that it is an oil less nailer and does not require a lot of preventative maintenance. So far I am very pleased with the performance of this nailer and you cant beat home depots warranty on these. Needless to say I was skeptical at first but I am now a Ridgid fan. I was so pleased with this finish nailer that I went back and purchased the stapler as well.

I bought this to nail up baseboards when I was remodeling my living and dining rooms. My walls are metal covered with drywall. This gun has enough punch to get through 1/2 inch base, 1/2 inch drywall and then through the metal, no problem. Looking forward to future jobs

More than what I was expecting, the no mar piece on the tip worked as expected on my base molding, all I have to fill in is just tiny nail holes that are hardly visible. Would recommend it!

This nailer will accept all lengths of available nails without requiring adjustments or inserted guides (like a previous nailer I owned). I also really like the ease of adjustment for the depth of the nail head. Rigid was not the least expensive nailer, but I’ve had excellent experience with the performance and durability of other Rigid tools. This nailer is meeting my expectation of Rigid products with the same high quality.

Broke after about a year of occasional light use. Good thing there is a 3 year warranty but the repair shop that Home Depot referred me to has bad reviews on service and turn around time when doing warranty work. I will have to buy something else in the mean time.
