This was the perfect tool for the project I was doing. I needed to cut out a water damaged shelf below my master bathroom sink and replace it. The guy at Home Depot suggested a Multi-Tool since it can cut flush with the side walls of the cabinet, and a circular saw or a jig saw cannot. He showed me this model that was on sale, and it was great! It even came with all the attachments I needed in the kit (large saw, small saw, sand pad and sand paper), so I didn’t have to buy anything else. It was powerful and very easy to use. It also came with a lifetime guarantee on parts and labor if you registered it with Rigid and downloaded a scanned copy or picture of your purchase receipt. I’m sure I’ll be using it for other projects in the future.

As a Floor installer, demo/prep, repairs, hard to reach areas.. These are my favorite tools (the multi-tool itself). I like the Ridgid, but my only complaint is the semi, non-universal blade attachments from brand to brand. From my previous Dremel (out of service) I had acquired quite the assortment of attachments and most are not compatible so I feel brash for buying right away out of need, and not putting 2 & Two together. Only because I will have to buy Ridgid specific attachments and more purchases are slightly upsetting! Other than that it works very well and has a great amount of control with the power button, various speeds depending on how hard you press the trigger and a great grip section to maneuver comfortably within safety. Potential 5 star rating, just sore about my own personal checkbook 😉 (biased review brought to you by a competing company)
