Works very well for what I need it for

Very easy and intuitive to use. Set up was super simple. Seemed to struggle through pressure treated 2×6’s (using 40 tooth diablo blade). Also barely enough depth to complete perpendicular cuts. But I was able to complete the task at hand.

Good, straight cuts. Light enough to handle. Easy, precise adjustments of blade height.

Needing continuous saw power for wooden fence project and working on a low budget I bought this great 6 1/2″ 12 amp saw, it cut through 4X6, 4X4,treated post and 2X4s and ripped through 2X4s and 1X6 treated lumber. Some cuts required notching and found depth scale to be very accurate and quick to select, as well as the bevel adjustment. The saw grip knob is great for accurate cuts on clamped down material. The blade changing wrench compartment is neat feature. I would recommend user to have some experience with circular saws as this model has no trigger safety switch.

I returned the Ridgid circular saw to Home Depot Store White Lake MI, found it too heavy to use.

Been looking for a 6 1/2 ” saw that does the job and is comfortable and easy to use. I found it. This little guy is a beast. It’s pretty light weight and does the job of bigger saws. And $79. Love it.

I have only had one project to use it on (as of this review). For a “basic” saw, it did what I needed/wanted and more.

Great size, easy to use and it makes nice clean cuts. Simple to adjust and the guides are spot on and easy to use. Exactly what I want in a circular saw. I do recommend this saw.

The saw is light and has all the adjustments needed for pocket cuts or bevels. It is rated 12 amps which works well with my extension cord and 15 amp circuit breaker. I suppose I am giving up some capability with a 6.5 inch blade, but most of my cuts are well within this limit. I prefer the light weight. The lifetime warranty is a first for me, and sounds excellent.

i have many brands of circular and they have a single issue , the weight ridgid offer a compact light weight compare to the competitors and a good value and application regarding the regular use or requirements from framing or any purpose of the use of the machine as straight long cuts ,ripping or elseif you need a light machine for heavy duty applications, get this one, i wont be disappointed thanks

Having Lighter Weight with better adjustment handles for depth an angle along with having holding knob, makes it more of accurate easy to use saw. Great with my ageing and disability, this saw is perfect for being able to keep the cut on the line even with my shaking. Have other RIDGID power tools and find that they all hold up great easy to use, and performance is better then expect when first time buying them . Over all I would say, RIDGID is the best tools I have used, in the 35 years or so, I have been doing home repairs, they are easy to use light weight then most with, fast set up’s and performance outstanding. Yeee haa! thumps up, an a Thank You.

Great saw, strong points for power and weight. For most work its good. This is my second Fuego, I gave my other to my son to use. My first Fuego, I had for 6 years and is still going great. The light weight makes it perfect for cutting with the saw shoulder high or higher. As an older gent and not a strong as I used to be, I can use it all day without getting tired. Most work you won’t miss the larger saw, it does occur on 4×4 etc. I have had several friends who after using the saw, purchase on for themselves. Biggest draw back is the small selection of blades for it. It would be nice if Home Depot would carry a bigger selection and have them always available. I have on a number of occasions needed blades and they were out of stock.
