first off. the blade of a circular saw should face away from the operator as the instructions say. any sidewinder saw is going to have blade right and worm drive left. soooooo I’d say use this saw right handed and be careful as it almost cut off my thumb and I’m a very skilled carpenter with 10 plus years experience. go worm drive over this saw. but if set on this saw it is accurate as all ridgid saws are

I purchased this little 6.5 inch saw for around the house projects. I must say it didn’t disappoint. I built my entire 10×12 shed using this saw from cutting 2×4 to 2×8 for the door and window headers to panels for the outer skin. It worked like a pro. If you need a great lite easy to handle monster I recommend this baby. The lifetime warranty is icing on the cake. Go Rigid Go.

Had high hopes for this since most Rigid products perform as they should and then some. Motor is weak and often bogs down to a full stop. Now to be fair I was replacing a Dewalt worm drive (handle broke off that one). I cut large pieces and often thick woods. I do like Rigid tools and plan to get a worm drive of their brand. This one will remain for simple quick cuts only. It is not a workhorse by any means.

First, I like how that I received my saw even earlier than what was expected. I was happy with the fact too that it came with a RIDGID saw blade so I didn’t have to go out and buy one. The saw performs really well and it’s very helpful to have it made to where it blows the dust off of the surface that your cutting so that you can see the line you’re following better!
