RIGID 21º Framing Nailer… giving 5 stars because of past Home Depot purchases… have not had time to use, will adjust after I use it, good or bad.

Nail gun was my nickname in college, so I’m particular about these things. This is a Greatt nail gun. Accidently put the nails in backwards and jambed the gun to kingdom come, but overall really good. Reliable – framed in 2,000 sqft and never a misfire or a poorly driven nail.

Lightweight and durable. I drop a few times and has kept on trucking. I have roof nailer and knew it was tough, so I just expect framer would be to. Perfect for me.

Best bang for your buck. No doubt. I love this thing. It has all of the features. It’s light weight. It’s very powerful. I’m just using this on some home improvement projects but, any professional roofer or framer, would be able to take this to a job sight. And the price was excellent. Ridgid really produces top quality tools.

I am not a pro, nor will I ever be, however I tend to have projects that straddle the line of pro stuff versus homeowner stuff. I needed a framing nail gun as I am constructing a 16x 20 mini shop. My other nail guns are Hitachi(now Metabo) and all work well. I chose the Ridgid over a Metabo originally because the Ridgid was on sale for 50 bucks less than the Metabo. Then I did a bit more research and found the Ridgid had more features than the Metabo, so I figured I’d give it a try. I am more than pleased with the performance and versatility of the Ridgid. I’m using a lot of 3 1/2 inch framing nails which the Ridgid drives easily. Knots are not a hindrance at all. The depth adjustment is good, and the air usage is a bit less than my brothers Senco of similar capability(although the Senco is much heavier). I also like the generous warranty Ridgid provides. I don’t use the “bump” nailing option much, but when I do, its super fast. I mean fast. You will need more compressor than some others if you use this feature a lot, at least 4 CFM @ 90-100 psi. I had to replace my super small compressor to use this gun to its full capabilities. Had I not, the poor compressor would have run itself to death…lolAnyway, good value with good performance. Zero complaints.

It’s a Christmas present so I can’t really say it’s for my son.

The max pressure for the nail gun is greater than the other brand I have. It works great and is much better than the oneI have blown the seals out of twice.
Joy Windler (verified owner) –
Over all great nailer. Much lighter than expected for its size.
Brionna Murphy (verified owner) –
Great product!

Worked very well for the first time using one. Also purchased the rigid air compressor to match and have sufficient air to work this tool. Very nice product. Used two guns on 25 square roof on two separate compressors as not to fluctuate air pressure. Both worked well.
Nils Lebsack (verified owner) –
Worked as advertised and at much lower price point than orhers.

Great nail gun and does exactly as it should

Only had nailer for a couple of weeks with limited use. Seems to be well built and has performed well during its use
