This universal mobile miter saw is solidly constructed. The assembly was straight-forward, though I found the assembly video (on the Home Depot product page) helped to clarify what the written instructions were saying. The only confusing part was that there were 4 leftover bolts. The written instructions did not mention them at all. The video showed them (in the final assembly step), but then did not show where they went. I finally figured out that the extra bolts were an option to use in attaching the miter saw to the clip-on braces if the shorter bolts were too short to use. In the assembly video, it is also demonstrated how the stand can also be easily used as a small workbench of sorts. Nice feature!

Very heavy duty and well built. I have two Makita stands and this one is heads and tails above those. Love the bigger wheels and extended platform when you have it in the stand up position. Makes it very stable. When my smaller stands are in the storage, upright position, I find them to be “top heavy” and am always worried about them tipping over forward. Best deal ever, I have paid upwards of $200 for my smaller Makita brand ones. Got this one on sale for $129. Cant go wrong at that price even if you only use it occasionally. I use mine with my Evolution saws for cutting metal and love the stability and solid base it provides while cutting.

It’s well built but somewhat too heavy already by itself for just one person to handle loading and unloading ( if you have to transport it). Personally, it will need two people especially once the miter saw is attached to it.

Hands down, one of the most durable and ridgid miter saw stand on the market. Its a no brainer when the price drops to $129 but an unbelieveable deal at $99. Assembly is fairly easy and straight foward. I mounted my dewalt dws779 and it fits great. Big plus is being able to leave your saw attaches when you fold the stand up. No more lugging around the saw!

the saw was packaged very securely, the blade was very easy to install which in my opinion is a plus because when you need to change the blade you already know how. the dust port measurements are a bit confusing one says 1.5 on the product description page on the Home Depot website then in the Q&A section it says 2.5 dust port. it would make sense to me if you have a Ridgid Miter saw it “should” be compatible with a Ridgid shop-vac. Here is an idea what about offering people like 10% off a Ridgid shop-vac with the purchace of a miter saw on the same receipt? it may be a good promotion, because now i am researching Ridgid shop vacs.
