This miter stand fit my older rigid miter saw perfect.I like how easy it is to fold up. Made with heavy guaged metal it would stand up to the rigors of a construction site.

The bolts included were too small. I had to go to the local hardware to purchase new ones to make this saw stand stable and sturdy

Outstanding!! Would highly recommend. MUCH bigger than I thought it would be. So be aware of dimensions, but solid for a portable stand.

I was planning on building a mobile miter saw stand, but when this showed up for a Black Friday sale, i bought it without a second thought. Setup was quick and easy, and I’ve had nothing but great experiences with it.

Listed on the H.D. web site for $99 but none in local store and they would not ship to Store nor Home ?? Took a 20 minute ride to another store (Orlando) and they had about 6, but the price was $129. The store manager, gave me the $99 price, but she went through the same exercise, and I said, the reason I’m here is because my store didn’t have it and HD would NOT ship to home or store ! The Manager was great, no problem giving me the $99 price. It’s a rugged stand, and the posts about putting it together, were some what true. But looking at the pictures and taking a little time and patience, pays off. Not difficult, looking at the picture on the box was helpful, when trying to figure out the folding legs, but it looks bulletproof ! Same deal on the saw, lifetime parts replacement. RIGID ! good job !

It’s really worth the price. It’s a bit hard to get it opened, but an adjustment of the placement of the saw may help that, I don’t know for sure. It feels like the weight of the saw keeps it from opening. Otherwise get it!

I am very pleased with the RIDGID Universal Mobile Miter Saw Stand with Mounting Braces. It is well built and heavy duty. It is easy to operate – easy open and close with a tap on the foot pedal. Even with a heavy miter saw attached, the scissor design makes it a breeze to position in the up or closed position without any heavy lifting or maneuvering. It locks easily in place. My Dewalt 12″ miter saw is mounted to it – like lifting a feather. When in the closed position it can be moved around on the large wheels much like a hand truck and can be stored in the upright position (with miter saw attached) safely and easily. The extendable braces on each side can slide out a lot to support a 14 -16 foot board and the supports can adjust up or down to be perfectly flush with the surface of your miter saw.

This is my first purchased MS stand so I won’t (can’t) compare it to any other on the market. But I will tell you what I know. This stand is solid. It is manufactured very well and can easily hold, I am certain, most miter saws on the market. The wheels are nice and big for easy maneuverability. The locking mechanism makes folding and unfolding the legs a breeze. It is heavy but that is why I like it. If you take off the saw, a piece of plywood between the main bars can serve as a workbench. I am using a Hercules 12″ compound MS which mates perfectly on it. The brackets hold the saw in place in the upright position (and the Hercules saw it very heavy). The upright material bars are well made and easy to adjust. This is well worth the price and I am very happy with the purchase and the quick free shipping. The only negative is the instruction manual. Who do they hire to write these things? I had to refer to a helpful Youtube video produced by Ridgid to assemble it. Buy it. You won’t regret it.

Much better quality than the Delta stand it replaced

Instructions need to have the illustrations next to the assembly steps. Aside from my dislike of the instruction manual, nice solid and worth while purchase.

Like the ease which it folds and unfolds and its stability. I use it as a mounting surface for my 13″ wide table planer, and bought an extra set of mounting bars which I use to quickly change to my miter saw. Super convenient!

Amazing improvement over the Ryobi stand. I highly recommend this product. It’s very easy to build as well as use.

I purchased the stand for $99 during the sale and had it delivered to my home. The instructions weren’t that helpful but watching videos online helped me out. When I got it fully assembled and the saw onto it I couldn’t get one of the work supports to extend. Initially I thought I had assembled it incorrectly so spent some time trying to find my error. After some research (and time) I realized this was a common problem with the welding on these stands and that I had assembled it correctly, it was just defective. That was annoying to wait a week in shipping, take the time to assemble it, and then realize it was defective. Defects happen and I understand that, however seeing as this is a known problem quality control should have caught the issue and not waste my time on assembling a defective product.
