One of the best saw stand

I have used this on several projects that I (previously) would only have used a circular saw for but this is so much easier to use and cut straight and accurately lines with. Many angle options available.

This is an excellent stand. There is another stand available that is larger, more sturdy and easier to use, however for this being a compact version it perfectly suits its designed purpose. It is easy for one person to handle, even with a miter saw attached and its smaller size makes it easy to maneuver in tighter spots.

Swesome stand, but I had to get longer screws for absolutely no reason… the screws they supplied to mount the saw wouldn’t fit my DeWalt 12 inch miter, so I got the same screws just an inch longer.

Love how this saw and stand are made. I will always buy Ridgid products. You can’t beat the lifetime warranty.

Great stand for the money. Only issue was 2 bolts provided to mount the saw to the stand were too short.

Easy to assemble and adjust. Sturdy yet lightweight. A terrific value.

For a cheaper mount and table, it works like it should. Sturdy, doesn’t tip over with all the weight. Wish the side extensions came out a little further. Other than that, it’s solid.

Love it. It stores easily and makes it so I can just wheel my saw in and out of my shed and not break my back while using it!

This is a true universal stand. I purchased a Milwaukee battery operated compound miter saw and didn’t know if it would attach to this stand but it did with no problems. It is a very sturdy unit but I have not attempted to fold and move it to a different location yet.

This stand has improvements over the dewalt stands I’ve used before, I like it a lot.

I don’t usually think of a tool as pretty but seem to with this one. It comes wellpacked using cardboard inserts without any styrofoam and the usual accompanying nuisance static cling tiny balls and/or little pieces. Label on the box says 67 lbs but my pricy digital scale says 39 lbs. Assembled weight not counting the two pieces that attach to the saw (they go where the saw goes) reads 28 lbs. My Milwaukee cordless 7 1/2” with those two pieces attached and weighed without battery comes in at 30 lbs for a total of 58 lbs plus whatever the battery being used is. The included fasteners are nicely finished in a black oxide. The only mod that I did was add a 1” fender washer to each of the four saw mounting positions because the Milwaukee holes are recessed for what looks like a hex head (these are hex drive socket heads) and I wanted a better grip than the included smaller washers provided. The roller end supports have built in material stops but do not flip into position. You have to adjust the end piece little bit higher. Easily done with the one large knob. The square recesses they ride up and down in are fully lined with a plastic insert and flap cut into it for the knob thread to press against. Appears to hold position well. Extending the bar lengths is tinker free with large on/off binding levers. The stand is very stable. I wasn’t on perfectly level concrete so there must be enough flex in the saw to have all four feet securely seated since9 there was no rocking at all. I like the front style saw bracket releases rather than the reach over the saw type becoming popular today. You still reach over to give the brackets a tiny lift over the back cross table member but the fit lets this happen with good feedback of the small on/off slip fit force designed into it. The stand looks good. Love at first sight. A large Phillips is used to mount the handle. The rest are metric. A hex drive or wrench for the saw to bracket bolts and a 13 mm and 8 mm wrench for the wheel axels. The ultra shallow cut into the axels next to the threaded section for the 8 mm requires one of those thin stamped metal wrenches (1/16”)(2mm) which I just happened to have in one of my odd tool drawers. Otherwise a small vice grip or pipe wrench should do just fine but you will need something with a good hold since all the nuts come with a small section of nylon ring locker. Torque fasteners down in stages until just firm. Don’t kill them it’s not a farm tractor. Female threading for the handle is actually aluminum. Be smart. If you are new to tightening fittings get a friend who isn’t. I spent a lot of time and thought researching choices out there before picking this one. At least for my needs it is perfect. I was a little hesitant about buying it until it got here and now I am very happy this was my choice. Hope this helps.
