The RIDGID 14 in. Abrasive Cut-Off Machine features a 6 ft. cord for an extended reach on the job site. The 15 Amp, high-torque motor is designed for cutting through rebar, bar stock, angle iron and complete bundles of metal studs. It features on-board wrench storage and an ergonomic D-shaped handle for easy transport.

- Heavy duty steel base adds stability and features solid rubber feet for vibration resistance
- 5 in. cutting capacity accommodates full bundles of steel studs
- Arbor lock for easy, single-wrench wheel changes
- Externally accessible brushes for easy brush changes
- Tool-free miter adjustment for quick and easy adjustment of the fence for most miter angles
- Adjustable fence rotates 45 to the left and right for accurate miter cuts
- Vice clamp and quick-release lever for convenient clamping and stock adjusting

It’s ready to go, right out of the box. 45° cuts in either direction is a handy setup, although the vise and blade flex can make for squirrelly precision cuts at that angle. The lifetime warranty is by far the best benefit.

Works as expected. Like the angle adjustment and work clamp. They work well. Wish the lock for the saw was a pin on the back like the dewalt instead of the chain up front. That’s the only reason I didn’t give it 5*.

Had 2 in 2 days..first one the motor kept cutting in and out very under powered so i exchanged it out for new one and the new one works great..only downfall is how much play the blade has at 45 angle cuts..you have to hold saw for a second longer on the metal or the blade will run on you from side to side..locking mechanism could be improved when it comes to moving the guide platefrom 0 to 45 degrees..other than that ive cut quite a bit of angle square tube flat stock and does a good job for what its worth

This machine performs its function perfectly. However, it does not have a lock button for the manual trigger leading to quick hand fatigue for the user. It is also lacking a stop for holding the shield in place during disk exchange. Finally, I am curious as to how long the plastic base will hold up.
