This chop saw was a great deal and very easy to assemble. Everything seems to work good and the only downside is that the sawdust catch isn’t great unless you attach a vacuum to it and then it works much better. The big plus is when you purchase the mobile staging system which does have a bit of assembly and a little bulky but makes moving it around and setting up very very easy and worth it. I enjoy the price and quality of the Rigid products and definitely recommend it especially when it is on sale.

Saw works great but there needs to be improvement on the piece that collects sawdust. The funnel is not wide enough so alot of dust escapes the suction of the dust collection system.

Parts were not labeled and instructions were not easy to understand. Assembly Instructions were not in any particular order. You had to flip back in forth in the booklet. Once it was put together, the saw ran great, easy to use.

The saw cuts accurately. Nice features too. There’s a slight buzzing sound coming from the motor housing, when it’s plugged in; not sure this is normal.

While blade wobble is present but minor, my biggest gripe is that our first unit was 299 and now these are up to 399. Personally I’d go with Dewalt 779 at it’s sale price and know it’s a durable highly accurate unit. As a woodworker this is my main issue. The only reason we chose the Ridged is the need to occasionally cut wide stock which the 779 also provides with the back fence and no wobble.

I had a problem with a screw which secures the top fence, Home Depot addressed and corrected the problem immediately. I found the saw very adjustable and easy to use. Additionally the saw dust collection system works very well.

No complaints on this saw except that the dust extraction isn’t the best. The dust does not seem to actually be kicked towards the cowl, leading to dust everywhere even with a vacuum hooked up.

This saw is spectacular! Cut a 2×6 up to 70 degrees. And cut a 2×12 at 45 degrees in one cut. Also the base plate swings out on both sides. Really nice saw.

Very easy to put together. I personally put a different saw blade on for the type of cutting I do. Blade itself has zero wobble. The light feature is a nice as well. I have my saw attached to a shop vacuum as that little bag isn’t big enough. Over all I would highly recommend this saw, if you do beveled cuts, angle cuts and ect.
