I didn’t think that the stand looked very sturdy but it turns out to be a solid base for the saw. The rip fence is solid once the clamp is set but one needs to spend a little time making sure it sets parallel to the blade. The saw motor itself is well balanced and runs without vibration and that translates to very clean and easy cuts. I am very happy with my new Rigid table saw.

Solid table saw. The bevel wouldnt reach 45 degrees on mine. True at 90 out of the box, suprisingly decent fence, minor adjustments for measurements, overall a good first table saw. I played with it for about a month, now going to go return it and pay a little more for something better. If it didnt have that one issue I would have probably kept it.

The blade height adjustment wheel and the bevel dial are adjusted by the same handle / dial. It turns to adjust the blade height and it slides right and left to adjust the bevel degree. On the saw sent to me, the bevel degree sits at 2-5 degrees if left alone. Even worse, it has to be strong armed to get it at 0 degrees, then lock.We purchase saws to save us work, this isn’t designed well enough to assume a thing calibration wise or on the safety features. Purely mediocre in my opinion.

The soft start is a very nice feature as is the blade brake. This would be a good saw as long as you dont have to cut anything wider that 10 inches. If the fence is on the extension piece it moves even when fully locked. I was trying to cut down a 48×30 piece of mdf into 12″ strips and after the 1st pass the fence moved almost a 1/4 of an inch. I have tightened the nuts on the tensioner and they keep coming loose. I get more accurate cuts from my circular saw with a bora guide. Will be returning this saw

Absolutely fantastic saw that I cannot recommend enough. Rigid is the best adjective to describe this saw with that tough, sturdy feeling. The stand is great with it being incredibly steady for appearing so skinny. I integrated the table saw into a large mobile workbench. Love the rip fence with it being easy to adjust to be square and love the small fence to flip over (I love using the small fence for a stop-block). The rip capacity is fantastic with the extendable table that can be simply adjusted from underneath. Cannot recommend enough with this being worth every penny to invest in this. The saw will pay off in numerous dividends!!
