It’s loud, but convenient. I would suggest getting the cordless unless you don’t want to invest into the platform.

The schools don’t always line up so they go in to the wood

Using the Collated Screwdriver is quicker than by installing the screws by hand. However, the device installed about every other screw. The other one would not go in or it would fall out. After going thru a couple of clips, it got somewhat easier but I still had to go back through the screws and manually have to drive them flush. This was even with using the adjustment on the driver.

I wish this tool had a larger foot. very difficult to get it perfectly perpendicular to the floor so the screws actually screw into the wood all the way. I maybe achieved a 65% success rate. I had to go back and use an impact driver to drill screws in the rest of the way.

It took about 1 strip of screws to get the hand of it. The only draw back was that the bit stripped out at before the end of the first strip of screws luckily I bought 2 back up bits when I bought this screw gun. The new bit completed my deck without stripping out. There were a few “miss fires” where the screw either popped out or didn’t seat completely. Overall this did the job in over half the time it would have taken me to do this with my drill.

Best money I ever spent.

Like some, I had trouble driving in the first few screws. Even destroyed a square tip. Finally I realized I needed to pull it of of reverse. Also, like others have said, hold the trigger before a pushing down to screw and hills it until the clutch kicks in.

My star review is complicated. I used to build custom homes and we had a NICE screw gun. This one sucked out of the box. But, I gave it a chance and bought a different bit for it. It went from driving 5% of the screws to 99% of them. Rigid gives you a crappy bit. But a replacement.

There is a very steep learning curve, as others have noted. Unfortunately, I destroyed the first bit, and had to order a new one. Screws are a little difficult to load, and the guard is cumbersome. Still, it makes installing deck boards much easier than just an impact drill.

takes awhile to get the hang of it but after that it went great

Worked decent but did jamb

Works great fat and very easy to work with it. Use it to redo my bed rooms living room and restrooms and don’t have any problems with it

Works great. Some advice line up the tool, pull the trigger to get the drill spinning, put force behind the drill to get it to plunge forward to drive the screw into the material. Having the drill perpendicular is important or it won’t allow the drill to plunge forward.

It seems to have issues every now and again feeding screws but it could be operator error

Works great.

I posted a negative review on this screw gun. Gave it one star saying it didn’t drive the screws in. Well I’d like to say it was 100% operator error. I bumped it into reverse somewhere while trying to get it set to drive the screws the proper depth. The gun works great if you’re smarter than it.

really speeds up installing drywall screws. even beginners were able to master that process with little difficulty.

Gun works great (so far), but I’m glad I bought the suggested square bit with this because the square bit that came in the box got stripped on the very first screw.

Keep stopping. Will not always screw all the way even though depth adjustment has been made to the tool.
