Great gun. I am replacing an older one that I will use exclusively for staples now. This gun is oil free, it is easy to load and you can see the fasteners, and it doesn’t leave a big ol honkin hole where the nail ram hits. Love it. Should have done it a long time ago. The nailer worked well. I added a small quarter round trim to my existing base board trim after installing some swiflock laminate flooring I also picked up from Home Depot. The rigid nailer made very quick clean work and did not split the thin material. Very happy I picked it up.

Purchased this after my Bostitch of 16 years bit the dust. I purchased the angled finish nailer from Ridgid and was impressed enough to get the brad nailer. Functions as it should and the depth adjustment is a lot easier to use than other models I had borrowed before I bought this one. I spent the additional $10-12 bucks for the magnesium body and cold forged pin. Don’t know how much more effective the pin is or how long it will last over the other model Ridgid offers.

To date, I’ve only used it once with 1 3/4″ brads (used about 50 brads) and it works flawlessly right out of the box. For whatever reason the one I purchased, which supposedly has the “directional exhaust”, doesn’t have this feature. I checked the model # on the box against the model # on line and they match so it only gets 4 stars because of the missing feature.
