These guns came without any kind carrying case or box. Boo!Overall, the units work well. Sometimes I have troubles with misfires, but if you pay attention to whether the nails are driven or not, this is not a major issue. It would be nice to have total consistency with “hear the sound” and “see/trust the driven nail is there,” though.The swivel air port is interesting, but I am wondering whether it provides value; should the port fail in the future, the minimal amount of motion I have gained will not be worth it. Sometimes I think maybe a static, fixed port would have been a better idea.

The Ridgid 18 gauge has more than met my expectations, as well as the Ridgid 15 gauge I bought a week or so earlier. I have yet to use the 23 gauge pin nailer but I can’t imagine that it would not perform to the best of it’s abilities. I would give all three of them give stars.
