This was a birthday gift for my son after they moved into their new home. HE says he loves it and that it is the best drill he’s ever had!! He whips around installing shades and curtain rods in nothing flat. For me, it is a little heavy for those tasks, so some may wish to go with a lighter versio.

It’s a good, powerful drill. Sometimes it seems that the self-locking chuck comes loose. Maybe I’m not tightening it correctly. I’ll see if I can find some information on how to make sure it tightens correctly.

Purchased this drill to cut large 5inch holes in 1/2 in pine and it performed superbly. I am definitely interested in the lifetime warranty because that is a demanding job on any drill so we shall see how it holds up.
