A beautiful, no BS machine. Uncompromising quality and craftsmanship. Excellent design and manufacturing from quality materials. Recommended by my son, this line of tools is the new standard for me with which to judge everyone else.

I bought it said it because it said it was a gear-driven Chuck drill. Drilling a double to buy 8 into a six-by-six it bogged I I figured it would have a little bit more power than it did. An I wished it was 2speeds . I did like the chuck key setup an the pug with the opening to hook onto the wire for power cords or rapping it around it self. I do miss power tools with that on the plug . It dose have power. My only complaint it’s not a two speed

Needed to bore 1 inch holes in 16 crossties. Drill I had ( Black & Decker ) burned up on first tie. Drilled 30 1 inch holes with this beast and it was not even hot, and never the first time lugged down. RIGID has a superior product in this Drill

I use this to mix thinset no problem and motor never burns out. only issue is you have to mix thinset at low speed and this has a variable speed finger trigger and no dial to set speed. You just have to hold finger very lightly to get low speed because high speed is too fast for thinset (adds too much air).
