It has hardened steel gears that provide strength in high-torque applications. Its 2-finger variable-speed trigger offers you greater control across a variety of applications. Backed by the Industry Leading Lifetime Service Agreement, the 9 Amp 1/2 in. Spade Handle Mud Mixer includes an auxiliary handle, a chuck key, a key strap and an operator’s manual.

This corded drill is awesome for mixing. It has great low speed torque and the amperage and torque necessary to mix even concrete in addition to paints and dry wall. Mixing at too high of speed can cause what your mixing to spill or fly out of your container. This drill has good controllability. It was easy to assemble, has great ergonomic handles for mixing and runs quietly and smoothly. If you want to mix anything this is the drill you want.

I’ll start by saying if I’m looking to buy a tool I usually look at Dewalt or Milwaukee first because I know they’ll take a beating and continue to get the job done. I was kind of scepticle buying this Rigid because i haven’t had good luck in the past, but boy was i wrong! I used this to mix thinset and self leveling compound, and it mixed way better than any hammer drill I’ve used (for mixing). You CANNOT bog this thing down. It runs at a lower RPM but the torque this guy puts out is incredible! No matter how thick your mud is, it keeps on spinning and mixing. It never got hot or started smoking like other drills I’ve used for mixing. I don’t normally write reviews, but this was definitely deserving! If you have a project that requires mixing thick material, this tool is a must. Well done Rigid.
