I own multiple Rigid tools and this one, like the others, is delivering as expected.I have my own handyman business and work as a maintenance technician. My 18v tools have been my go to.I decided to give the 12v a try for smaller jobs. After using it for an hour, I decided it’s me EDC for the maintenance tech stuff. Battery has good lasting time. People complain about no voltage warning, however, the built in light does start blinking when it’s getting low. Plus it comes with 2 batteries anyway.Overall I am super impressed with its torque, speed settings and clutch.Seems a little heavy for a smaller drill, but good feel and balance.Another win for my toolbox.

This is the best small drill I have had! I have had several corded and cordless drills and this one has more features and is very easy to use. I like the 2 batteries, which last me for a full day of use. With 2 speeds – high speed for drilling and low speed for driving and removing screws – this meets all my needs. I bought it based on the Consumer Report Best Buy recommendation.

We like how compact this tool is but each battery lasted less than 90 minutes. We were using it at our campsite and luckily there were 2 batteries or we wouldn’t have been able to finish our project. I guess it’s more for household use so you can plug 1 battery in while using the other.

As an older person, I really like the power this compact and relatively light weight drill delivers. I have two of them, one outfitted with a drill bit, the other with a screw driver bit. I don’t nail anything anymore.

This drill performs very well and is so much smaller and lighter than my previous drill that I’m still getting used to it. I’m sorry it doesn’t have a means to store an additional screwdriver bit and also wish it was designed to stand up on its handle/base. I’m waiting for confirmation that my registration for lifetime battery replacement is finalized.

The 12volt drill came on time in a nice softpack carrying case. It took about 5 minutes to fully charge the first battery. The drill is lightweight, easy to handle and hold while drilling or driving screws. The second battery charged just as fast as the first. I have used it for about a week or two and the first battery is still installed and holding its charge.Its perfect for my needs around the house. It also seems to be very strong and develops a lot of torque for such a small piece. Highly recommended for homeowners or handymen.
