This is great for getting in to tight spaces and even the work light on the base unit works very well with it. It’s missing two things..1) It is single speed gear box at a max of 500 RPM… this is great for power and turns the 20,000 rpm of the base unit into a real powerhouse of a 3/8ths drill but needs a two-speed gear box.2) It has no torque clutch which makes using it as a 90* driver a bit risky as to running the fastener too deep… BUT, then again, the slow speed does help in that department… It needs an adjustable clutch.

I really enjoy that drill head. It’s handy and goes everywhere that some other won’t go… Slow but safe…

This attachment worked great in an area that I could not reach with my regular drill.

This fits my Ryobi JobPlus base tool. Upon receiving this I drilled a 3/8″ hole through a PT 2×4 with no effort. I then drove a 1/2″ lag into the hole. Again, no problem. The keyless chuck is large to provide a good grip. The right angle drill head speed runs according to the speed of your tool base. It only is variable speed and reversible if your base tool has variable speed and reverse. For really tight spaces get yourself some stubby drills bits or cut down the shanks of standard drill bits. This will fit into 1/2 the space of a typical hand drill. Cheaper than buying a separate right angle drill. Recommended. Don’t forget to register it with Rigid.

Needed a right angle drill to go through a ceiling joist to wire new recessed lighting. Already had a Ryobi multi tool so instead of buying a whole new drill for $69 I got just the Rigid head for $44. Saved 25 bucks and it worked perfectly. Very easy to switch the multi tool heads.

so far so good. really compact and nimble.

It works but it’s kind of dificult to get the head on and off my multi tool. I’m sure it will get easier as it gets worn in a little.
Woodrow Moen (verified owner) –
This drill was easy to attach to my job max.

Perfect for what I needed it for.
Adolphus Schiller (verified owner) –
The 180 degree ability. Coupled with already having a right angle built in. Makes it versatile.

The JobMax is an incredible tool system and this head just adds to the options and usefulness of the tool. This would not be what you want if you were say, building cabinets, but for assembly’s or repairs it’s perfect.
