For the price, you cannot get a better value for a jig saw. If you already have the Ridgid or Ryobi compatible base for this tool, this is well worth the easy investment. For just over $50 you have a full complete jig saw. I have used this on everything from thick subfloor boards, to thin, brittle plastic, to full on 2×4’s and it has more than exceeded my expectations. It’s not everyday you can get a jig saw for $50 that will get the job done, but today is that day.
