The reciprocating saw is excellent for small jobs and in tight places where a full size reciprocating saw did not fit in.

Not well suited for heavy cutting but it works well enough that I decided not to get a one handed reciprocating saw. Perfect for cutting pipes in tighter spot where a full size saw doesn’t fit. I use it with my Ryobi multi tool motor. Some of them are interchangeable with the Ridgid JobMax heads.

I really like my Jobmax multi-tool head so I purchased the Recip saw head to go with it. I wanted to use it for quicker jobs to avoid getting out my large, corded Recip Saw. The one I bought worked when I put it on the tool body for the first trigger pull and then froze. I took it back and exchanged it and the one I exchanged with did the exact same thing. I contacted Ridgid and was advised to exchange a third time or take it in for service. I opted to take it in. I have owned this tool for 3 weeks but have yet to use it. In theory its a great tool. I am happy about the price and I really like the Jobmax lineup however I am worried I’m going to run into problems with other attachment heads. Hope its just a bad run of Recip Saw heads. Time will tell. I will say that the LSA is awesome and it’s a major reason that I choose Ridgid. Also, the customer service was really good. You cant beat the price on this tool head and others so It’s a great value. Quality is TBD.

This makes the JobMax tool entirely worth purchasing. It might not have the same blade travel as a full size Sawzall but for someone who needs it for small demo projects or just pruning trees, it’s perfect. Just recently used it to cut wood panels down to a more manageable size for disposal and it worked liked a charm. Safety lock is also nice for blade changing.

Like the tool very much. Just dreading the clunky registration process to get it registered for LSA

Not a great tool for anything big or thick. Just not enough muscle.

This is one of the many tool heads I have purchased for the Ridgid JobMax units. This is a handy little saw for many options.

Works wonders used it twice cut pex tubing and a drain pipe as the were to close together for a hacksaw to fit and my pvc cutters was to small for the drain to cut 5 stars
