Works great, I bought it to use with a grout/ mortar removal blade and works wonders. Highly recommend having this head for your job max tools.

Works great. Use it all the time to cut up scrap wood, tree limbs, etc.Felt a little under powered when I first got it but it is a battery powered tool.Best used with a 3 or 6 AH battery if you don’t want to swap the battery every 15 min or so during heavier use.

Great attachment, great for tight places like crawl spaces and great one hand operation when need to hold onto what you need to cut as I did when cutting abs pipes, I would recommend this and any attachment for the tool, looking foward to my next attachment,

Great attachment for the Ridgid multitool. Can be a challenge getting it off once on and obviously not as powerful as a dedicated reciprocating saw but very useful for small jobs.
Cali Schmeler (verified owner) –
More powerful than expecting, so i was pleasantly surprised.

I actually had to return the 1st one I bought because the motor froze in it. Used to cut through a 2×8

As an installer, I only need a reciprocating saw once in a blue moon. So this was the perfect add-on for me. I wouldn’t recommend it for a contractor who needs a super powerful saw every day. But it certainly does the job and tucks away very compactly

Nice addition to my line of JobMax tools!b1

I like the quick release function to add and remove the blades. Not as powerful as standard corded reciprocating saw, but powerful enough for small jobs.

I’m very happy with this product, as i am with all my Rigid tools, of which i have many. The reason i would hesitate to recommend this product is because i know that people are stupid. The will probably expect this tool to work like a real reciprocating saw. It doesn’t. This is a Jobmax tool. None of the Jobmax tool heads work like their bigger beefier brothers, because they aren’t big and beefy. They are small and convenient. But most importantly, they get the job done. It’s going to take a little longer, it’s not as powerful, not as much fun to use, but that’s the tradeoff for the convenience of having every tool you need for the job in one lightweight bag.

This attachment paid for itself in the first trip out! I bought it to minimize the weight in my car when I was packing up to do my sister’s tile job from central Canada to drive to the west coast. I have a DeWalt reciprocal saw but it is heavier and bulky so this guy performs exceptionally well for the design. And being able to switch out heads instantly saved chasing around for another tool.

excellent tool with power max handle it is the right size and weight tool for small jobs and tight spaces sawzall is just too heavy and hard to handle although it is a little slow it gets the job done
