RIDGID introduces the 18-Volt Cordless Mini Bluetooth Radio with Radio App, 2.0 Ah Lithium-Ion Battery, and Charger. This radio is the second radio to use the RIDGID Radio App. The Mini Bluetooth Radio also features a USB charging port for smartphones and other devices and an Aux-In connection making it MP3 player compatible. The 2.0 Ah battery will give the user up to 2X more runtime and has 2X longer life compared to standard lithium-ion batteries, and the 18-Volt Charger is 100% Compatible with all RIDGID 18-Volt tools and batteries. Backed by the Industry Leading Lifetime Service Agreement, the 18-Volt Mini Bluetooth Radio with Radio App includes two AAA Batteries, and auxiliary cable, a 2.0 Ah Battery, an 18-Volt Charger, and an operator’s manual.

Sounds good, Bluetooth connection while using Ridgid radio app works well, battery and charger are 100% compatible with my 10 year old Ridgid 18volt cordless kit, can use my existing 4ah batteries. If you already have Ridgid 18v tools and don’t need the larger radio then this is a no brainer. Not to mention the lifetime service agreement if you do your part and register the radio, battery, and the charger.
