RIDGID introduces the 18-Volt Hybrid Jobsite Radio with 18-Volt Lithium-Ion 2.0 Ah Battery and Charger Kit. This radio boasts a range of great features to help you rock out on the job site. The RIDGID Radio App truly separates this radio from the competition: It lets you keep and change preset stations, control bass and treble settings, check RIDGID battery life, record preset voice alarms, and more. With the app, you can stream music wirelessly from your phone while charging it at the same time in the integrated USB port. The 18-Volt Charger features Rapid Charge Time, Smart Charging, Cold/Hot Warning, and Energy Save Mode. The 2 Ah battery gives users prolonged run time and more charges over its lifetime compared to standard lithium-ion batteries. With registration, this kit is backed by the Industry’s Only Lifetime Service Agreement. The 18-Volt Jobsite Radio with Bluetooth Wireless Technology includes two AAA batteries, an auxiliary cable, a 2.0 Ah Battery, an 18-Volt Charger, and an operator’s manual.

Just what I was looking for. A little disappointed with the battery as I have a RIDGID multi tool which has a smaller battery but the radio only uses the larger, newer battery. Other than that it fits my needs.

Unit is decent. What a shame that you have to pay another $60 or so to get the one that chargers the battery as well. And also the Bluetooth range is like 10-12ft so that sucks.

Recently, my last job site radio after several years stopped working suddenly and would not come back to life. Purchase the new Ridgid job site radio and enjoy the new styling and options. The Bluetooth availability is spectacular reduce the amount of cables that must be used even though they are provided with the unit. With Bluetooth, lost cables are not an issue.
