I recently obtained this Driver and have been very pleased with its performance. First, the battery and charger that came with this kit are excellent. The battery lasts for hours with repeated use and has not overheated once! The charger is able to replenish a completely discharged battery in minutes rather than hours.Now on to the driver… This new Ridgid Brushless Stealth Force Driver is an absolute pleasure to use. It has three driver settings that come in very handy for delicate projects to make sure you do not strip screw heads or add the necessary force when driving large fasteners. The positioning of the light on the driver head is also an improvement from where others are located down by the battery. Lastly, this driver is MARKEDLY more quite than any driver I have ever used. It is amazing how powerful it is and yet it whispers while it works rather than yells. I will be on the look out for more of these products as Ridgid rolls them out. The Lifetime Service Agreement for the Driver, Battery and charger are unmatched. I have had to use the warranty in the past and it is seamless. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a new addition or simply an upgrade.

It is very quiet compared to my old impact screw gun. It is like it impacts differently. My old one would clutch and then somewhat hammer in, this one is somehow different. Very quiet and man will it drive in screws. It is a good job is has a 3 speed switch for some tasks.

So I’ve had a 12 volt impact for years and it worked great for me. Just burnt the motor up so I needed to upgrade. I bought this because it seemed like it was the strongest thing I could afford. And it is strong in fact stupid strong. Just for a test I grabbed some 3/8 lag bolts 3 inches long and ran them into a 4×4 with no pilot hole. Zipped them right in. I was totally amazed at this. However the real purpose I needed a new gun for was I was in the middle of driving a bunch of 3 1/2 long phillips screws. So tonight I tried running them in and found its extremely hard to keep the bit in the screw. I’m using Milwaukee impact bits and it rounds the screw out and ruins the bit almost immediately. I’m ordering some impact acr bits to try with this but I was really let down. Most of my experience with impacts let you reach out of position without being able to push of the fastener and the bit wouldn’t slip. This guns has less beats per second but hits harder which is why it wants to jump. I really like the new tech but a quicker lighter hitting gun with this impulse tech I think would work alot better. I was a general contractor for a number of years so I’ve used alot of different brands and voltages of impacts.

As one would expect, the buying research necessary for a new drill or impact drill can be difficult. However, this Stealth Force unit raised its head above the rest. I wanted more than 12volt unit and didn’t quite need a 20volt, so I got this 18volt. I MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE. This also replaces what any normal drill can do. During operation, it feels so nice to hold, and not too heavy. This tool is a winner – hands down!
