I have had my impact for over a year now and it is amazing. I have taken lug nuts off of cars,trucks, and even some of our smaller tractors on the farm. I put 6″x1/2″ masonry screws into concrete with it. It is my favorite tool its quiet, i don’t have to take the service trailer to a field to use a generator and a air compressor i just use this. The only reason i did not give it 5 stars is i noticed in the winter leaving it in the truck or in the shop the oil would get cold and the tool would not work. But as long as the tool stayed warm it was fine. Now the lowest it got before it wouldn’t work was about 25 degrees.

I have been working in construction for 15 yrs and currently work for one of the largest commercial contractors in Mississippi. Impact drivers are something I use and depend on daily and I am pretty rough on them. Ive probably owned at least 10 during my career and this one Ive been so impressed with that I ended up buying 3 them. Im around several tradesmen every day and I constantly get asked about this driver. Guys are blown away (including myself) about how quiet this thing is. Its also the most powerful driver Ive owned to date. Its a bit heavy compared to some other ones out there but i feel that is because its so well built and heavy duty. Ive been buying ridgid tools for about 7 years now and they never let me down. Ive never had any issues with the lifetime warranty other than at times it can take a few weeks to get your tool repaired. I will be a ridgid fan for life. Very durable and well built tools.

I’ve owned 3 ridgids among other brands. Used professionally for years. Nothing, not even previous ridgid guns come close to this gun. I never realised how good it was til I was given a 20V dewalt hammer drill/impact kit by work. I’m switching back to my own tools because the Dewalt impacts feels like an uncomfortable toy compared to the ridgid. Ergonomics, balance, feel, weight (the ridgid is heavier, I like it, some may not) and power all superior on the ridgid. And the dewalt is 50 more when sold separately.
