Just getting used to an impact driver. I love the hex chuck. The power takes some getting used to because of the impact feature. Rigid rules due to the backwards compatible battery system. No one else ha been doing it as good or as long as rigid.

Impact says it’s goes up to 2250 inch pounds. I wanted an impact driver that would be strong enough to take off a lug nut if needed that was torqued to 100 ft pounds which is way less than what the impact is rated at. I tried several different brands. Rigid(2250) Bosch(1600) Kobalt(2000)and Milwaukee(1600) Milwaukee was the only one that could take the lug nut off and it was rated at 1600 inch pounds. I tried another lug at 120 and it wouldn’t remove it. Bought the Milwaukee fuel (2000) inch pounds and it removed it no problem at all. The little fuel is a beast. Check you tube videos. Lots of good information. Also the Ridgid had a little more wobble on the bit then the others.

This thing had been a delight to use. I have been thoroughly impressed witht the build quality and confort of this impact only down fall is it is heavy with a 4.0AH battery! Power wise this thing is awesome and spins with the best alot of screw driving is done with little to no impacts depending on what youre screwing together. I have used this impact daily almost for severall weeks now and I would buy it again anyday!

I work with guys who only buy dewalt tools. They always talk about how great they are… but i didn’t want to own the same tools as them… so i took a chance and bought ridgid… they gave me crap every day. And i stayed silent and watched their tools continue to break while on the job. I have had the same tools for a while now and they just don’t stop…. i have used the dewalt tools and they feel sluggish and weak compared to ridgid… i am so happy with the performance and quality!!! And the batteries last so long i dont even bring a charger to work cause i dont have to… i have used my drill for a 10 hour shift and it still had a charge while i watched my coworkers go through battery after battery after battery!!! Every time they say crap about rigid i just smile cause i know that i bought the better product!!!!! I am so impressed buy the power of their tools!!!! I can’t recommend them enough!!!
