Great blower for light dust and debris. Heavier and larger than the advertising indicates and the strength of the air flow is weaker than I expected. The variable speed is nice.

Have used this for one summer now and it works great. Not as powerful as some of the bigger blowers but still does a pretty good job. I registered this tool online and for some reason it does not say lifetime warranty. Says Only 3 years.

Was frustrated for several weeks because they kept telling me it was on back order or was being discontinued etc.. Then, finally after maybe two months of getting different contradictory information from well intentioned people, it arrived. Now I’m totally satisfied with my new toy. It does everything I imagined. Wonderful little machine!

The blower was well packaged. Just take it out of the box, review the directions, attach a battery and it’s ready to go. It’s very powerful and does a great job.

It’s nice not to drag a cord around. Gets the job done faster.

I like all of the Rigid tools but the blower doesn’t keep its power even thought I used a four hour battery it wouldn’t last or have good blowing strength. I would have to say I’m disappointed.

great example of another 18v idea by Ridgid!!!!

It does the job. Not made for blowing wet leaves around a large yard. But i have a gas powered echo blower attachment and it blows as hard as that does. Its easy to get up and down a ladder with. Will buy another if thos breaks

I’ve only used it once but I am impressed.

Wow. Battery and motor technology have sure come a long way since the days of NiCad and necessarily heavy DC motors. This little gem of a tool is a great example of what can be done with the latest technology: it is lightweight, well balanced, and, when considering the energy necessary to move air at such high speeds, it is efficient. Additionally, lithium ion batteries are the best yet made because of their consistently level discharge, long shelf-life, and quick recharge rate. This means the tool can be easily kept at the ready for when it’s needed.During these fall months, I’ve used it often to keep my porch free of leaves and I’ve used it in my yard to gather leaves for mulching. It makes this kind of yard work more enjoyable than sweeping and raking and bagging. However, there is a small caveat to my approval of this tool – because it can move air at such velocities, it will deplete a low amp-hour battery very quickly. Ridgid’s website claims 20 minutes runtime with their Lithium ion 4 Ah battery. That’s not a lot of time.Fortunately, I am a devotee of Ridgid tools and have acquired, through a special online deal and a store cut-out sale, two 9 ah batteries. One of these batteries powered the tool for over an hour of near constant use, and, even though the 9 Ah batteries are necessarily heavy, the weight is balanced by the design of the blower and I was not fatigued. As of this writing, Ridgid 9 Ah batteries currently cost $169.00 each. I’ve also seen them with a $199.00 price tag. Ugh.So, to make this tool a 5-star tool, I feel Ridgid and Home Depot should offer it in a package that includes a 9 Ah battery and maybe even throw in their least expensive charger.Funny thing is, Home Depot currently offers this tool in a package that includes Ridgid’s 18v hand vacuum, their compact charger and… ONE 2 Ah battery. It costs $306.97.Do the math. 10 minutes runtime for the blower – and, from experience, I know there is at least a 30-minute recharge time for a 2 Ah battery – and only one battery for two tools.Really? The blower is currently $79.97, a 9Ah battery is currently $169.00 and their least expensive charger is currently $39.00. That’s $287.97 Add in the hand vacuum, which is currently $49.97, and the cost is $337.94. If you already have a charger, the cost is $298.94.Like I said, do the math.

It does not have as much air flow / power as I anticipated. It’s good for light jobs.

Good jobsite blower.

This blower is a huge help in the garage and around the pool. The varable speed allows just the right touch. Not built for moving huge leaf piles so don’t expect that.

This light weight blower is surprisingly powerful. I was really not convinced it would do well before I bought it but figured it was worth a try. It really works quite well. My wife is especially pleased, because she would not even try to use the heavy gas powered blower we used to have. I would recommend it to anyone.

Great product. Use it almost everyday to blow pine needles and leaves off our deck. Very handy and easy to use compared to gas powered devices.

Does a good job, not overwhelming but it does the job

Awesome ! Just the right blower for my workbench sawdust and leaves falling over
Eryn Cremin (verified owner) –
This blower works very well the only issue I have is the battery is a little difficult to remove from the tool

Very helpful but needs more power.

Blower works great. Love the throttle switch that makes it easy to control air flow. My only disappointment with the blower is how fast it drains my 4.0 ah batteries.
