I bought the router to rout hinge mortises in a bunch of doors for a neighbor. I kind of wanted one anyway because of a review I read in Fine Woodworking. I am very please with the decision. Its portability and light weight are perfect for the job. The review I read had a minor issue with the weight of the unit with battery, but I coupled it with a 4AH battery and see no problem at all.

This is a great cordless router that functions better than my previous Bosch router. Its definitely a must have tool to complete your tool collection!

Took it out of the box, added the battery I already had and put it to work. Had a bit of trouble figuring out how to turn it on. Pro tip, you have to pull the switch. Still, I figured it out without needing the instructions. The fine tuning of the cut depth is excellent, Visibility is also great.

Works great love using it

So far I have only used it once. Only gripe is that it’s a little tricky for this southpaw to remove the base for bit changes. Otherwise, I love this tool. Pic is of the finished project that I used it on.

Excellent power and maneuverability. Easy to control and view area of work. Great for small applications where a large router is hard to control due to size or supporting work piece. No cords to get in the way. Adjustments are very easy and quick to make to depth of cut.

Very happy with the product

Used a couple times already as I got it for free with a package. Runs great, but of loss in RPM as the battery discharges but didn’t effect the cuts. I was doing a lot of trim in one session.

Nice adjustability, plenty of power for trimming, easy to handle, good visibility (for a trim router), LED light is a nice touch. Power switch would be better as a rocker switch. A dust port option would be really helpful too. Also Ridgid is denying the LSA after I exchanged a defective one.

If you’re invested in the rigid platform and looking to get your first router for simple to moderately lengthy tasks, you’ll have almost no complaints. Plenty of power for most materials and good runtime with 3+ Ah batteries, 5 Ah+ preferred for longer tasks. I know from “A Concord Carpenter” Youtube channel, this didn’t hold up in the most extreme testing cases for those pro level carpenters out there. Just FYI.My gripe is the power button and bit micro depth adjuster. Out of the box my bit was moving up or down 1/32 or less of an inch, causing it to leave lines on my material half way through the projects or sooner. You may just need to tighten a screw for a stronger hold in the adjuster but haven’t looked into it yet.Not sure why they couldn’t figure a better button design (not a deal breaker for me), but definitely shouldn’t require two hands to turn this thing on and off.Hope this helps.

Have the corded version, so got this for places I do not have power. Motor is strong and the router uses all the bits I need for outside work (Decks n railings). Well made and comfortable in the hand..AND IT USES the Bluetooth Large capacity batteries. Limited lifetime warranty and free batteries (HOOPS MUST BE GONE THRU for this). Overall very satisfied with this tool.
