I would say this vacuum is just ok. As other have said, you are constantly forces to clean the filter or it will lose suction. I would say it the vacuum lacks power with the floor attachment. Perhaps ridgid should make a 18X2 vacuum so it has more suction power and redesign the filter so you don’t have to clean it so often.

This product, like all Ridgid products, is top notch. Very powerful and can be used in all applications. We have had for several months and use it daily. Nice to be able to switch batteries and not wait on charge. Only drawback is that it is noisier than the less powerful vacs but it is exactly what we wanted.

Went to the store looking for a traditional plug in shop vac. Read reviews about this one, and they were a little iffy. How ever, I decided to give it a try seeing as I already have the batteries because of my other tools. Don’t regret my decision! Fantastic vacuum, easy and lightweight. Give it a try if your trying to decide, I think it’s great.

Plenty of power and the cordlessness is awesome. Burns through the battery pretty quick so you might have to get the biggest one you can find to do more than small jobs.

filter must be clean at all times, in order for max suction capability, which requires stopping often and detaching waste container and cleaning filter. Not at all what I expected from a Rigid tool…..Overpriced for what was delivered, as I end up using my Dewalt vac.
