I love the ridgid products. This is my second drill from ridgid. I love having the hammer drill option on this tool and have used it several times. It is a compact drill with a lot of power behind it. I use it professionally and it holds up. I would definitely recommend using at least a 4 amp hour battery with this as it does make it run better.

This is a tough, compact drill driver that packs a lot of power. Still don’t have the octane battery but it still outperforms any I’ve ever used. Had to drill through a cast iron shower pan and the only problem I had was dulling of the drill bit. The light that surrounds then chuck is a huge improvement and the chuck itself is oversized and easy to tighten and loosen. According to the specs the torque is about twice what you’ll find on other similar brands. Outstanding and will do the job whether big or small.

This Ridgid Drill is an excellent tool for my collection. Has plenty of power and long battery life with the 18V 4 amp/HR batteries I use. Ridgid is the only power tools I buy anymore and with the lifetime service agreement, you cant go wrong. My current collection consist of approximately 20 tools in the Ridgid brand. Great tool and an ever better price!
