I would not consider myself a professional by any means but I would say this tool is more than capable for a do-it-yourself-er. Currently I only have the tool free head and have used it for basic wood, metal and plaster cutting on a bathroom demo project (I also purchased the 14 piece blade set from Ridgid). The greatest things about this tool are its portability and versatility. I should also note that I’ve only been using this tool for about a month so hopefully it continues to perform as well as it has been.

Most effective and efficient tools of all. A must have for homeowner. Comes with some blades and sanding papers. Strong and lasting. Reason for 4 star is makes higher vibration sounds than dewalt and changing blade design could have been better. Its not variable speed but you can control speed with trigger. Still buying this makes sense since you can buy multiple attachments and save in the long run.

Just finished a 900 square foot cut and cobble insulation job with 2″ rigid foam insulation. The multi tool with the recip saw head attachment was amazing! I used an old blade with the teeth ground on a grind-stone to a “semi” knife edge. Speed and efficiency; home run.
