Fantastic Addition!!The first thing you notice about this attachment to the new MegaMax is the weight! Wow at 5lbs alone, you know it’s going to handle some serious demo! And that it does. Holds the line without jumping as well. Coupled with the new power base and a 6 or 9ah battery, it’s ready for any task!

I’m a contractor by trade and this attachment for the Megamax is amazing! I just can’t believe how much power it has.I ripped down a deck in on charge with this attachment. I usually go to the chainsaw for these type of jobs but this sawsall has the power to rip through it on one charge!What an awesome tool!I highly recommend this to everyone out there looking for a cordless sawsall!

I have to say I’m impressed with this attachment for the MegMax. I used this attachment for tearing out an old garage and it’s amazing how long the battery lasted. It’s more powereful than a corded sawsall. This thing just rips through whatever is put in front of it. When you put a 4 or 6 amp hour octane battery on it comes to life. Im really impressed with the Megamax and its attachments. They are well built and professional grade tools.

I picked this attachment up when I bought the MegaMax. What can I saw this is a standard saws all, but, way better! When paired with the MegaMax powerhead it is a beast. It’s got tons of power and just rips through anything you can throw at it.Features I like are the adjustable foot. I used this feature when cutting through metal to get a sharp spot on the blade for mutlple cuts. Comes in pretty handy.Next is the oscillating/orbital function. It’s really nice to have when yo want to cut faster. It allows the chips to clear the blade quicker. Overall it’s a pretty nice feature. I was cutting out sheeting from framed in windows and it screamed through the cuts.Rigid clearly has an awesome tool set here with the combo of the right angle drill, the rotary hammer and the saws all attachments. This is built tough and will last forever.

I recently started using the MEGAMax product line and have to say that the Reciprocating Saw Head is amazing! The first project I used it on was cutting apart an 8’x8′ storage shed. Combined with the 6.0Ah OCTANE battery, I was able to cut through nail embedded wood and shingles, dicing the shed into 24 pieces, all on a single battery charge! Ridgid has designed this tool to feel and respond like a corded tool, without the cord! Where others would bog down from friction and weight, this unit plows right through. In a matter of seconds you can be ready to drill large holes or drill concrete with the other attachments. Highly recommend this unit!

Reciprocating saw head is a must have if you’re going to adapt the awesomeness of the new megamax. If you want to really unleash the power of the base unit like no other you will need to make sure you get the reciprocating saw head. It offers all the great features of Ridgid’s traditional reciprocating saw but with the option to add awesome. Yes awesome is the sound of the system twisting and locking together making a solid piece of machinery unlike anything on the market. If you don’t believe me. Try it!

Great and Powerful tool system! I love the new Mega max power tool system. The power head for these tools is a Beast! The attachment of the reciprocating saw head to the power head is very secure. The system for attaching the blades to the saw head is very innovative as well. You do not need a special tool to change out blades quickly and easily. The tool is very sturdy, and feels good to grip. I also like the tool carry bag. It is strong and sturdy. This saw has handled all of the jobs that I have thrown at it, from carpentry projects, to cutting branches out in the yard. Very good tool!

This saw will not disappoint. I have to say that this saw puts my other saw to shame. Has all the great features that RIDGID provides toolless blade swap, open boot design, lever boot slide and orbital switch. What makes it so much better… The four position head,increased power, torque in a well designed quick change system. You can add the drill, and hammer drill to your kit and keep it all in a nice space saving bag.

So this review may be annoying to some but this is more of a suggestion for anyone looking to buy the megamax and the 3 attachments. If you buy this kit and the other 2 kits, it is $400 more than the kit that has the 1 battery, 1 charger, and 1 megamax with all 3 attachments. But if you buy all 3 of these individual kits, like I said, it is $400 more but it includes 2 extra batteries, chargers, and megamax base tools… so you are basically getting 2 extra megamax tools for same price as buying the all in one kit and 2 starter battery bundles ($199 each)… so before you buy the $479 megamax kit and extra batteries, consider buying all 3 separate kits and having LSA on everything…

This reciprocating saw is a beast. There isn’t thatll slow this down. There is constant power unlike all the other saws I’ve used and others have used. Much better than the x4 recriprocating saw.

I don’t quite understand how the designers were able to deliver so much power in something that can be detached but wow, I’m impressed! So far I can only speak to the recip saw attachment at this point because that is what I primarily wanted and ripped open when I got it. The recip saw attachment has amazing power and cut through my project like butter! (I guess a recip saw is only as good as the blades you have on it, but with the nail embedded diablo blades I got at Home Depot it was awesome!!). I gotta be honest, I wasn’t expecting the computerized beep sounds to happen with I attached the battery. That was pretty cool and felt like I was locked and loaded!

Wonderful set up easy blade change. 4 postition head with the right blades anything is possible. Short metal cutting blade was like a hot knife through butter on a heavy gauge culvert. Choice between rotation or standard cutting is AWESOME
