I am happy that my Home Depot (Mission Viejo, near Saddleback Community College, CA) offers the product line of Ridgid. During this pandemic, I ordered the tool online, and when I went to the store, I parked in a clearly designated spot and after designating the “locker” number, it was delivered to me by their employee without me having to enter the store … totally convenient and painless.Great tool with varying speed, convenience of wireless mobility and you can purchase an attachment that wil help you “shake-n’-mix” aerosol cans of paint, etc. Including its obvious, intended use!

I recently purchased the reciprocating 18V cordless saw to add to my tool collection. I have not had much of a chance to work with it but did some cutting and it has great power and control. I have been purchasing RIDGID tools for some time now and have always been very satisfied with the quality, power and warranty of this product. Table saw, Drill, Hammer Drill, Jigsaw, Sander, Router etc… I own corded and cordless RIDGID tools and have been very satisfied with the performance and accuracy. The warranty is great. Only issue I have had is that for some reason I am unable to register on line to get my LSA… Keeps freezing up. Is this something that is automatic when you buy from a local store?

Good tools for our second home without having to spend more. These should be fine for casual use. Don’t like the fact that every tool went up $10 bucks just because they were getting popular. I will buy more if I need them but I would not rely on these for construction trades.

Ordering on line was easy and it arrived a couple of days before it was supposed to! I have several RIDGID Tools so the battery was not needed with this order. This is is truly a One – Handed tool, my first use was to cut out a couple of door jambs and framing, put in a big demo blade which was easily done with the tool less ring collar, and the job was done in minutes.I love the size and the ease of changing blades, not having to find an extension cord is also very convenient, especially when trimming limbs in the yard. This tool exceeded my expectations by doing things my corded recip saw would with ease and greater mobility..

I bought this tool because it was more compact than a normal reciprocating saw and it was cordless. As for it being one handed I suppose that depends on how one uses it. The primary purpose I had in mind for this tool was pruning and cutting down under brush that is too big for my loppers. It worked well for this task. Battery life was not an issue for me. I found it necessary to use two hands when using it for this task. The tool is very front heavy when gripping it by it’s handle. Using the tool in any other position than with the cutting edge of the blade down was difficult for me. All in all, it did what I asked of it and have no complaints.
