RIDGID introduces the 18-Volt Hybrid Folding Panel Light (Tool-Only). This light can be folded backwards for 360° light output and also used as a bright panel light for specific areas. It puts out a powerful 2500 Lumens in every direction. On its lowest setting it can run up to 14 hours on a single 5.0 Ah battery charge (battery not included). It can also be plugged into an outlet to never run out of power. Backed by the Industry Leading Lifetime Service Agreement, the 18-Volt Hybrid Folding Panel Light includes an operator’s manual. Battery, charger, and ac adaptor sold separately.

I did a bathroom renovation without a work light and the drywall job didn’t come out as clean as I’d like, because the dark lighting hid a lot of the problems. I got this light for the next bathroom renovation. I can see the room very clearly. I tacked on 2 screws to the wall and used the bracket on the light to slide the light onto the screws. I can also very quickly slide the light off the screws, put it on the floor and have it shine up on where I am working. Great light. I highly recommend it

I was working in an attic and had my years-old halogen work lamp with me. It gives off a ton of light but it also gives off a ton of HEAT, and who what’s that in a 110-degree attic? I headed to HD to pick up (hopefully) a battery powered DeWalt LED work light (because years ago I standardized on DeWalt and have a bunch of their batteries and chargers), but lighting seems to be an area DeWalt is weak in. Frustrated, I started looking around and came across this gem. It was 50% pricier than the corded Husky unit I was about to buy but since it could take either 120-vac or battery packs – and because it was just a really well thought out light – picked it up (I had a few Rigid batteries and chargers laying around from back in the day.) This is without a doubt one of the best designed tools I own. Variable light output let’s it run longer on batteries when I choose to power it that way. The adjustable side panels let me get light exactly where I need it. The way the side panels fold closed so that all the light panels are protected when not in use. The ability to tripod mouth it, line mount it, or set it down on its built in stand provides a ton of application felxibility. It gives off all the light I need and then some. I highly recommend this product.

This Tri-fold light is great!! I have had mine for over 2 years. With a 5 or 9amp battery on bright runs for hours. It warns you when the battery is running out. It can be Very bright or turned down to dim. It Tilts, fans out or in. Battery or plug in. I have 3 of them. Used them at night to cut up brush or work on the car. When lighting took out my electric in my work shop, these lights — lit the way. Then, when the transformer got knot out, again no elect this time on the whole property for 4 1/2 hours. No problem, I just got out one of my tri-folds and it light up the room. The tripod it great too. It is light weight, versatile, portable and durable (if treated right). I have a 24 X 45 ft building that has no elect. yet, so I just use these lights w/9amp batteries and they work great for hours. I have had all kinds of work lights and spot lights but these stand alone as the best.
