overall performance, the light serpasses expectations, the easy operation of low to high a plus, the lamp is a little bulky, however, will stay where you place the light.

I bought this to replace the spot/area light from my Gen 4 set after I ran it over. the output on thus light is excellent but I hate the power button. I find it turned on at least twice a day and on twice in the last two weeks I’ve started the day with a dead battery

This light is a good size for a smaller project, or when you dont feel like breaking out the bigger lights. I use mine as a mini version of the folding panel light. The battery life on this smaller light is much better, and this light is more portable and less awkward to maneuver than the panel light. Removing the light from the stand and using it as a mini flood light also works well in a variety if situations, Ive found it especially useful for working under a car. This light works best with the 2.0ah battery, Ive found that the 4.0 battery makes the light a little too bulky to maneuver without the stand. If you’re keeping it on the stand, the 4.0 works great.

Flood light works very well and is really bright. I was surprised how large it is overall, but that is not an issue.

A great small portable light to take anywhere. This light provides a nice blast of LED sunshine when you need it and because it has such a small footprint you can place it just about anywhere you want. It was perfect when I installed a new faucet and I was adjusting the piping under the sink. I was able to place it in the corner of the cabinet and aim the light where I wanted. Much better than a traditional flashlight that will inevitably fall down and you lose your light.I like the dimming feature which allows you to get the brightness just get right considering where you are using it. It’s rated at up to 1200 lumens and it’s bright as heck if that is what you need.Battery usage was good. My 4.0 Ah battery ran it for hours with no significant drain even at full brightness. This light also connects to the Ridgid tripod which is a plus. This unit seems really solid and I found no quality issues on mine. It sure looks like it’s made to last. I recommend this light.

Amazing light output for such a small footprint. Well design mounting and holding system. The use of Rigid 18v batteries from their tool lineup is convenient if you’re already invested in that system.
