This is truly an amazing tool to own. It runs forever on a charge and has removed more nuts and bolts with ease and NO knuckle banging involved. We take this with us to the hay field because you never know when a tire or some other rusted bolt will need to be removed. It is a must on road trips for the same reason. You won’t be disappointed!

one of the best cordless tools i have ever purchased. must have if you are doing any interior trim such as molding. process is much faster no waste and comes out perfect. speed settings work great to apply the right amount of calk. also used when setting a sink in silicone under bathroom and kitchen sinks. just hold trigger and apply caulk. very easy to use and great price if you have the batteries from other tools.

Its bulkier than expected for sure. It’s hard to adjust the the speed it comes out and when you stop the back releases so it takes a while to get it going again. Plus the tub of caulk starts falling out when you stop and the pressure is released. Would be nice once you figure out the speed that works best for what your doing and if it was on straight runs. Stop and starting isn’t easy though. We knew it would be heavier than a regular gun but if you have a lot of high caulking to do, your arm gets pretty tired . Nice idea, just needs some improvements we think.

this not so a review but more of a question. has anyone had issues with there’s? i bought the gun twice and both times it stops working? i don’t even use it enough for it to break down on me. i am an orange blood. Lol nothing but ridgid. i need to know please. i love the gun but can’t keep exchanging it for another one if it happens again

A few things they could improve. !. most other ridgid tools have a light out where you need it this does not.2. The triger is very hard to pull, no need for that3. When the triger is relesed the pressure is released to keep the caulking from continuing to run but when the setting is on 1 or 2 the caulking does not start again after pulling the triger for 10 to 15 seconds while the plunger travels to the caulking again. Good idea and tool but definatley needs improvement. Looking for 2.0 version.

First impression: The trigger spring is MUCH TOO STIFF! There is absolutely no need for the spring to be this strong. What’s the point of an electric caulk gun if the trigger is as hard to pull as a manual one!
