Very very useful..but get some impact specific bits…I broke a few standard ones quite easily.

Bought this for the warehouse that I work in and it has worked great for almost everything that I have used it for. Very happy with how it has held up. Whether it’s get covered in rusty dust or 20 year old grease it powers through.

This tool is fantastic! I use it as an impact wrench and, with an adapter, an impact driver. Given the size, price, performance and LSA, it is a fantastic tool.

Lightweight and easy to use. The smaller size allows you to use it in tighter spaces. Great product.

used the impact for removing the exhaust system from my car. due to the smaller size I was able to get into areas that my yellow impact would never fit. size and weight of this tool are great, it was powerful enough to get the job done. would recommend

I use this daily in automotive repair work at a bench on transmissions. Easy to use. Battery life is OK.. I prefer the 2ah battery for lighter weight for daily use since I am 67 years olde now.

Great kit. I’m an electrician so the light weight compact is great in tight spaces. The impact surprised me when it bored through the floor joist with ease. Used a self drilling 1inch spade bit. Honestly had my doubts. Very impressed with the brushless. Keep in mind I only drilled 15 joist but no overheating and battery was still full

The impact wrench is light weight, makes life easier when building things and honestly, you can’t tell any differe between the 18v this one uses vs the 20v other impact wrenches use.

I have the 1/2 in impact, so I know the quality of ridgid. I love the compactness of this impact and the fact that it is 3/8s in.

Great tool! Small but powerful! If you are invested in Ridgid batteries and need an impact, I would recommend this tool.

This model may be a subcompact but it packs a big punch. Quite impressed, happy with purchase.

The tool head is very small and the weight is minimal. Very capable as well. Unfortunately the battery is holding this sub-subcompact line back. If Ridgid came up with a smaller battery (and drop the voltage to 12v if they had to) I think they would have an amazing offering that would rival the higher priced competition. Ultimately I returned the tool and got a smaller one from another manufacturer, but I’ll keep and eye on Ridgid to see if their next revision will offer smaller batteries.

Great tool to have to make changing your brakes, taking off wheels, and other basic jobs on compact cars a breeze. I can’t speak for areas with rust, but this tool is well worth it to save a ton of hassle.

I work on many different types of things from small engines to large vehicles. When most people hear that they think about Milwaukee tools, and their stubby impacts. I tell them I use Rigid they look at me like I have 7 heads. Why wouldn’t you, 225 foot pounds of torque compared to Milwaukee’s 250, where this one will have a more constant number, Milwaukees has very bad fluctuation. More compact than the M12 stubbies by almost a full inch. 1 battery type to worry about, not 2. Lifetime warranty no questions asked. I will recommend this over Milwaukee or any other brand always. Plus I like the color orange a lot more than red, so that’s a huge plus.
