I have been using the corded model for quite some time with 0 issues. I purchased this tool for convenience. I started out with the sanding head on some exterior trim. The trim was installed a few years ago but never got painted so it was still on the primer which sanded off easily. Sanded 14 windows by hand the 1st day then figured I could speed things up with this tool plus add to my ridgid collection. Started out awesome but after about a half an hour It started to get pretty hot. But between climbing down my ladder and moving it, climbing back up (32′) it was cool. Used it for an hour and a half each day for 2 days. But had to keep moving my hand up the tool away from the heat.

I bought this set on sale around Christmas. You can’t beat the price for what you get in the kit. I needed a drywall gun and cutoff tool and I already had an oscillating tool but I can definitely use another one. The ridgid brand has come a long way in the last 10 years. I highly recommend this kit

As of right now I live this drill it’s light weight and easy to handle. The automatic feed works pretty good you have to get used to using it. I prefer the standard way of using it.

Works well so far. I’ve used it for a few odd jobs with small clearances. One was getting mortises started on a door I had to trim down.

This tool has become invaluable to me.. I carry the rigid stackable boxes in my truck and space is at a premium.. a tool really needs to earn its space and this pulls quadruple duty. I have the jigsaw head, rotary/spiral cutter and sawzall head as well as oscillating saw.. while I do still throw in a real sawzall if I’m sure I’m goin to need it the sawzall head is sufficient for 90% of daily jobs. The jigsaw is great and unless you need to tilt the shoe (not adjustable) it’s perfect. The oscillating head is perfect.. I have had other versions from different manufacturers and this one is my fav..It’s the swiss army knife of cordless tools and does most jobs very well.. word of caution, let the oscillating saw do the work. Too much applied pressure and u will overheat the saw and it will shut down but once u learn to let the saw do the job it’s fine.. only seems to be an issue with the oscillating head, all others are fine… this thing is great.

I worked real good for the flooring I was putting down. The only thing that happened was the square bit I was using broke and the ones I ordered did not fit the gun. Had to order different one and it took two weeks to get them. My feeling is that they should make one size to fit both screw guns and have them in the store.
