Very good torque on the drill, and impact drill, also, The 71/2 cordless saw is great with lots of work time with the 4.0 amp batteries. Impressive plus a lifetime warranty to boot. The flashlight is of little use, I would suggest their small radio be added to the kit or cordless sander would be more useful.

Got this at a good price and used it to jump start the cordless tool setup in my shop. I especially like how quiet the circular is. I knocked this back one star because I’m kind of feeling that they oversold the hammer-drill functionality of the drill. Otherwise, I’m quite happy with my purchase.

I switched all my tools over to Ridgid back in 2008 and this included: Pneumatic – 6 Roofing coil nailers – 2 Shingle Cutters- 2 Palm Nailers – 1 Jobmax with sander & saw heads – 1 Tri-Stack Compressor Cordless – 2 Drills- 1 Quick change hammer drill- 1 Sawzall – 1 Circular saw- 4 Battery packsAnd the only issues I have had… that were not unexpected, was the Compressor has had a rebuild kit 1 time, 1 regulator assembly replacement and those were done by me, with the stellar warranty, Ridgid sent me the parts within a week, and repairs by me so I would not have to wait for the Ridgid repair shop to do it, because they would have taken over a month for the turnaround. IF YOU WANT AMAZING TOOLS, WITH EVEN BETTER WARRANTY? BUY RIDGID! These tools are about 12 years old and I’ve only had 2 Battery packs die, and regular wear service on my Compressor since! Hamilton Roof Medic will NEVER BUY ANOTHER BRAND! Ps, Would love some Ridgid stickers for my trucks 😉

Good price and quality. It arrived in a reasonable amount of time. I had a previous set and am satisfied with the quality. The Lifetime Service Agreement seems shadey. You can not log in on the website to apply, even though the instructions direct you there. I had to phone to apply. That was a month ago. I have no idea if I am registered. I was sent an email in French about the registration process, even though I am an Anglophone. I purchased the kit online and the registration process “strongly recommends” you submit a receipt. You would think the order number would be secure. I like the product but the LSA procedure has reduced my satisfaction. I also wish there were more products that we could use the batteries on, such as weed eaters, chainsaws, Brad mailers, etc.
