This set started my love for RIDGID products..I found this deal strolling through home depot one day, shortly after.buying a new house. was able to convince my wife that being new homeowners, our 15 year old craftsman drill wasn’t going to cut it. my wife and I agreed this was a good starter tool set to have around our new home and never looked back. when I needed a jigsaw, i bought ridged. framing nailer? I bought ridged. orbital sander? I bought ridged. if only I initially knew about the registration! about a year and a half later, after remodeling half of my house, these tools still have day 1 power. wish I registered to have the piece of mind, not that I am worried about these tools

Only bought this because of $300 price 5 pc kit. Had milwaukee for 10 years, this heavier, bigger/bulkier, the work light flickers, charger oversized for what reason? the rigid has great torque adjustment, good power, hammer drill worked well. lifetime service and battery warranty is hard to resist concidering the 2 milwaukee batteries would of been $200 alone. would buy again at the $300.

bought this set as part of a sale last December. It was buy this set and get 2 other tools free, so I also got the multi oscillating tool, and 1/2 inch impact wrench. Im not a pro, but ive built a 30×10 porch, 10×10 porch, and several small project around the house. Very impressed with the circular saw (i thought it would be to small, to be of good use) it has become my go to for a rough quick cuts, with a good blade i think it would be as good as any circular saw out, but not for commercial, high use,. battery last a decent time and recharge quick, again i dont use them for 9 hours straight, im not a contractor, but for home use they are fine.the impact driver is light and powerfull, the hammer drill works good, is very fast, the clutches settings are pretty good a stopping from over running screws. only complaints is the drill is a little heavy, the wife wont use it all, and the flashlight is kinda pointless. Overall very pleased with the set, and even better if you can get it with the 2 free tool deals.

These tools are well made and work very well. they feel and are very capable. the only flaw I see is that the drill is very heavy and requires a bit of arm strength to hold for long periods of time. We’ll see if these tools can put up with the day to day abuse of carpentry until then I will continue to enjoy using these tools.
