Excellent power and easy to control. Makes me happy I went with rigid as my go to

Only had for a short while but have been testing it on random pieces of wood and drywall and I have to say it has an excellent feel compared to an old corded milwaukee I had. Not slagging off the milwaukee, it was great, just old and heavy. This is so easy to pickup, slap a battery on it and go. I’ve been slowly replacing my corded tools to the rigid brand of cordless so I can always substitute a battery from one tool to the other. Yes, it’s only been a few weeks but I really like this saw and would recommend.

This sander is just what I needed for sanding drywall joints. Works fast and when hooked to a shop vac there’s virtually no dust. The battery life in a 2ah was enough to finish about 8 ft of joints and screw holes. I thought the weight of the tool w a 4ah battery may be excessive but it’s been a one handed job for the most part. The noise is definitely enough to require hearing protection when using with shop vac so be prepared.

Been wanting to get a portable Sawzall and this one checks all the boxes. I’ve used it to cut up galvanized drain pipes with ease, exterior framing, and old rotted cedar planting boxes so far with no issues. The sawzall is well-balanced and the battery doesn’t drain terribly quick.

This is a great product. Very powerful and versatile. The variable speed trigger will be very useful. I wish that it would have come with battery though.

Great tools for the price. Circular saw has a lot more power than expected.

I recently purchased a Ridgid 18-Volt Random Orbit Sander along with a 9ah battery. I compared this cordless sander with Ridgid corded (AC) orbital sander using 220 sand paper disc with both tools set at their highest setting (6). What I have found along with other reviews is the cordless tends to “run away” from you while sanding. You have much more control with the corded version of this sander. However the dust capturing is far better with the cordless version. I took a few 1×10 boards and sanded them with the two sanders. The corded version works much faster and removes more material from the board with little downward pressure. The cordless version took more effort to get the same smooth/even results. Bottom line the cordless sander is good and gets a B+ grade. Is it worth the money? Well if you are tired of the hassle of not having a long enough power cord/extension cord, or an a/c outlet is not nearby, then I would say yes, but if time and effort are your priorities when sanding, then the answer is no.

Plenty of power in a battery powered sander. Completed a bunch of sanding before it went through my batteries. Well worth the extra money to ditch the corded version.

This is one of the best Sanders I’ve owned. Love how it collects the fine Saw Dust. Mix it with some wood glue for DIY Wood Filler.
