I purchased some Ridgid lights and as awome as they are I needed a better option than just setting them on the floor or countertop when using them. I figured that I would give this stand a try……. Great decision. I do not believe that there is a more rugged or sturdy stand available…… At least not in this price range. If you are into photography this would be a good option for you too.

Sturdy stand however using sandbags (sandbag hooks included) may be required when using multiple lights to prevent tipping over.

When I first saw this I was intrigued , as I am Photographer, I am always looking for better equipment to do my job and looking to think outside of the box. It was time for a new tripod and I wanted something durable and sturdy. I tested the tripod for the first time outdoors today and it held up better than expected. It was a windy day near the beach and I wanted to use it to hold my flash and not have to worry about it tipping over. Without adding additional weights the tripod held up just fine. It was windy out but not extremely windy, since I have the jobsite blower I suppose I can use that for more testing. I love the fact that I can connect my camera and additional equipment to this stand. It was a little frustrating figuring out to open the stand, you have to manually push the legs out. Since it is designed like the Milwaukee Rockets, I was expecting it to open in a similar manner. So far I feel confident then went out on the job, my camera and other equipment will be safe on this tripod. I also like the fact that if I need to attach one item I can do so, without having all of the arms out. This swivels so you can attach one item or if you need more than one you can pivot the mount to support up to three items

I originally purchased this light/stand combo for additional lighting while painting. When I took it to a recent indoor jobsite the tool was an instant favorite. Every contractor on site wanted to use it. Brilliant directional lighting and a stand that is bullet proof. Very impressed by the ruggedness and quality of both items. I plan to purchase another light to add more lumens since the stand can hold 3. Highly recommended!

This is a great light Stand. So universal, you can put all different kinds of lights on it or a camera for project documentation. I even had a craftsman light I put on it.

Sturdy well designed tripod. I have a laser level and work lights mounted which is very handy. One minor problem has shown up. The telescoping sections do not swivel. The issue showed up when using the laser level mounted on the centre stud. To rotate the level you have to either loosen the level or twist the entire stand. Both of those options require re-leveling and/or resetting the height. This is easily solved if you have a swivel base for your laser.

This is a really great unit. It is sturdy, even heavy, and with one exception, easy to use. The exception is that you actually have to use instructions to open the lets. The top lever is not for telescope, it’s for opening the legs. I love it.
