I’ve been looking for this for a while and finally my local Home Depot had one. I bought the unit and while unboxing it , the level fell out of the box. Noticed that it was at one point glued into its recess. No big deal really, just glued it back in. Just a little disappointed that the last two Ridgid items I purchased had one small issue each. Overall, I love Ridgid tools but expected better.

I have two Hybrid GEN5X Cordless Folding Panel Lights, and a GEN5X 18-Volt Dual-Power Light Cannon, that I can mount on this tripod. The tripod has four On-board 1/4-20 thread studs that these lights (and most Cameras incidentally). Three are on the adjustable arms One more on the center axis adjustment, which can be used independently,The tripod ca be telescoped up to 7 feet. It is stable but most in the lowest position. The dynamics of stability change with the heavy lights out on those three arms. I removed those and use the single threaded attachment from the center axis adjustment,I found the cams need a very slight adjustment to tighten enough to prevent slipping on the telescoping post. It requires a 3mm allen wrench. No big deal. The three legs extend outwards and can be adjusted from a narrow stance to a wider 30″ wide stance. One leg has an adjustable leg extension to place the post in a plumb attitude. and to help do that it has an onboard 360 degree bubble level on the end of of the carry handle.I like the tripod and the 18 volt battery / 110 volt hybrid LED lights for a quick, bright light source when I need it.To add to stability there are a few choices to hang sand bags, one specifically to do so near lower end of the center post.

It seems to be a very sturdy, heavy duty tripod. Very easy to open and extend. A very good buy for the money!!

Very nice a sturdy—used the stand and the Led light the same day I received them both —I like the there is no cords to plug in and no cords to trip over

This light stand, with both rigid lights on it has been crucial to my remodel project since there are no lights hooked up yet. I can put the fan on it too. I’m very happy with it.

It was a gift, but the recipient was very pleased.

Well made, very tight and steady compared to any of the halogen light towers I’ve had in the past.

Very sturdy stand and about as flexible as you could possibly want for placement of lights. The ability to adjust a leg is really nice on uneven ground. Highly recommend.

Works great for Laser stand setting wall panels and millwork where typical tripod will only go to max 6′

Good tripod, strong and ridgid with many functions.

Overall a nice stand. I was disappointed that the legs are plastic. I thought it would be higher quality considering the price. I am concerned about what the durability will be. Built in level is a nice feature.

Easy to use. It stands up, has all kinds of levels and takes up a fair amount of space. I like all the possibilities for optional equipment.

I got this with the light and extra battery. I have a lot of ridgid tool and there the best 5 out of 5. However cant say the same with this tripod. I feel like they didnt take the time makeing or designing it. I have a hard time opening it up and folding it up. Also when i fold it up one of the three arms (the smaller one) hits the carring handle. I have to move the arms to close it. Same thns happons when opening. The other problem is that while trying to open it the handle broke. It was only the third time I opened it. I was very dissapointed. Not worth returning little apoxie fixed it. Over all i’m not to satisfied with it. it just feels cheap. Maybe mine was just a bad one? However im brand loyal and this is the only tool out of all of my redgid tools thats not a solid 5 of 5.

This tripod mount is very solid and well made. I was very surprised at the weight this thing had when I first opened the box. I feel like this will hold up to some jobsite abuse.

Seems to be made well and should last a long time for everyone that has one. I just found it to be somewhat bulky and a little bit pricey. After trying it out for a week, I decided it would just be an item that would never really get used. I am fine with letting the lights and fan I have just sit on the floor for now. For those that really need to have a stand instead of just wanting one, this stand should be just fine.

Would give 5 stars but can be a little wobbly if only using 1 light so I bought a second and working much better
