The RIDGID 1-layer pleated paper filter is designed to capture everyday dirt and debris such as sawdust, dirt and typical debris found in a basement, garage or vehicle. The filter fits all RIDGID wet dry vacs 3 to 4.5 Gal. It’s patented QwikLock feature allows the filter to easily snap on and off the vacuum for cleaning.

I have no problem with these, I use this vacuum mainly to extract sawdust from saws, sanders, etc.I made a mistake buying a 4 gal. gallon vac. as it to small for my type of use. I would buy another Ridgid with out a doubt. I tried my hand at discount store shop vac. I’ve never be able to find filters for them.
