The Rigid Wet or dry dust bag for shop vacuums is a welcome addition to my shop. Of course it is very nice not having to constantly clean out my vacuum from dirt and dust in my shop. But I frequently use it as a wet vac when I drain and clean my water feature in my back yard. I saves so much time not having to open and remove the filter when vacuuming out the water after draining my small pond. It also keeps sawdust and small particles from clogging the filter which has always been a pain to deal with. These filters are making my job much easier.

I got these because I have a lot of allergies and when using a wet/dry vacuum the dust that they produce really gets me going. I was quite surprised when I opened the box to see how thick the bags were. They were almost like some kind of fine cloth bag, not the cheap ones you can get.I used one bag to vacuum my entire pole barn of all the summer dust and debris without one sniffle. A very ingenious addition to these bags is the tape seal used to keep everything inside when done using it,, peel and stick. These bags can be used in wet and dry but I only have used them to vacuum up dry materials. I am sure with the quality of these bags wet would not be an issue.

They are OK .. they do what the box states , can use with wet or dry and throw the whole bag away and the water if used for wet pick up with drain out of the bag trapping the debris. The opening doesn’t fit very snug and when used with wet clean it the cardboard opening begins to fall apart . Biggest con is the price for 2 bags they are kinda pricey, so if you have a wet/dry mess to clean up they will help when it comes time to empty your vacuum.

RIDGID Premium Size A Wet or Dry Dust and Debris Bags wet/dryI use these bags when I need to capture most if not all of the fine particles of dust in our shop We do a lot of fine detail finishing. We rough vacuum first and then go over it again with this bag in the shop vac. You would be surprised at what you collect. Makes for a superior finish. I also use the bags inside my home for spring cleaning. The shop vac and the bag just do a better job than a regular vac. We rebuilt small jet ski engines where the standard of dust control has to be way up there. These bags are the only way to go. I found that the bags work best in wet conditions when the water is mixed with other debris. I do not use the bags for cleaning up just water.

Ridgid Premium Dust/Debris Bags for Wet/Dry Vacuums 12-16 gallons VF3702. This is great, it is meant to get wet and still be a functioning bag. I dreamed of this the last time I did drywall work on my home. Ridgid has the cylinder filters and they work great. It’s just when you are working with fine nasty powder a bag would make cleanup easier and keep the air cleaner and that’s just what this does .They even thought of the cleanup and included an adhesive closure to seal the bag up when you are done. This is excellent. The bag is heavy duty and you can fill it up and not have a huge mess. The water seeps right out and if you are going all dry it provides a tough reliable bag wet or dry. The bag slips over the opening in the tub, you pull back on it when you’re done and cover the hole with the adhesive covering to dispose of the bag.

I always use bags and filters with my shop vacuums. These bags are strong but be careful when installing them. They tend to want to rip just above the cardboard flap.

These bags are incredible. They catch everything. I just used them to cleanup after doing some plaster removal and they caught all the dust and debris and nothing came out of the air return unlike if you just use a general purpose filter without a bag. Next I put it to the test by vacuuming out a sink in my cellar that had a lot of debris and water in it. Incredibly the bag held up amazingly. It had no problems sucking up water and debris and did a great job separating the two without becoming ruined. I highly recommend them. I installed them on my Ridgid 16 gallon shop vacuum in seconds.

This wet or dry dust and debris bag kit came with 2 bags and fit my Rigid 14 gallon WD14800 without a problem. The bags are made of a thick fabric that is very soft to the touch and seems very durable. Install was a breeze with a cardboard collar piece that fits over the 2 ribs of the vac tube and seals well. One of the perks of these bags is that it can be used for either wet or dry applications, which is rare. The bag even comes with an adhesive seal to easily close up the bag when full for disposal. Dry vac work is good, with the bag easily keeping in all of the debris. Wet vac work can be an issue though, since the liquid from wet debris is supposed to pass through the bag over time and the bag can end up sitting in wetness at the bottom of the wet/dry vac housing. Depending on what you’re vacuuming up, this can result in an odor which isn’t too pleasant. Admittedly in the desert though, the bag dried out rather quickly. I also try to avoid my filter from getting anywhere near wetness which can lead to deterioration. Although the wet debris will go straight into this bag and not interface directly with the filter, there is a possibility of the liquid collecting in the bottom of the wet/dry vac housing and sloshing around into your filter. I would say for small wet cleanup applications, this bag would work OK but for bigger jobs I would just remove the filter and bag altogether and use the vacuum in its wet vac configuration.
