The VF4000 1-layer standard pleated paper filter is designed to capture everyday dirt and debris such as sawdust, dirt and typical debris found in a basement, garage or vehicle. The VF7000 wet application foam filter is designed for high volume liquid pick-up. The patented Qwik Lock feature allows the filter to easily snap on and off the vacuum for cleaning.

    I had some water in the basement so it was the perfect test site for the wet foam filter. The vac worked so much more efficiently with it than with the combo filter. With this filter the floater immediately shut off the vac when it started to fill with water versus the vac kind of shuttering to a halt with the combo filter.
